La Fortuna/Arenal Volcano is one of the adventure zones in Costa Rica! The town centers around a community park with the breathtaking volcano in the background. There is so much to do here. On the adventure side you can choose from rafting, zipling, ATV's, waterfall rappelling, biking and more. On the nature side there is hiking/nature walks, birding, butterfly gardens, waterfalls, horseback riding, Once you have finished your day of fun there are many naturally fed hot springs to relaxe the evening away. Just around the side of volcano sits Arenal Lake. You can hop on a boat or take a sunset cruise.
