Beautiful, Colorful Granada Nicaragua

Granada is stunning! The colors the churchs, parks, colonial homes. There is so much to here to keep yourself busy. Tours to volcanoes, lake kayaking or boating, city and market tours and more. Founded in the 1500s by Spanish conquerors, Granada is a treasure box of charm at the foot of a volcano. Visiting is a "trip back in time" to busy streets of colonial-style churches, homes and shops. Museums have opened, including one of the finest in the country, the private Mi Museo, and new hotels and restaurants are proliferating at a fast clip.Granada is located along the coast of the Lake Nicaragua (a.k.a. Lake Cocibolca), the world's twentieth largest lake. This is a foodies paradise. Granada's food is getting known all over the world and restaurnts dot the streets with every type of food you could want!
